Today, I caught another record, this time more of sport and technology. The thing is that a cyclist named Francois Gissy (heard of him?) accelerated on a bike with a liquid jet engine to a speed of 263 kilometers per hour(163 miles). Beside this, special work was done on upgrading the bike as it was conducted.
A normal bike was taken for this, and for 5 days and 750 dollars it turned into reactive vehicle. It is worth to mention that the record set is not just for bikes, but also for motorcycles (in 2002 someone drove a motorcycle with the speed of 242 kilometers per hour).
In the creation of a bike with a jet engine a company named «Exotic Thermo Engineering» also participated, which also presented the first engine from H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) of specific type. On peroxide rockets "V-2" flew during the Second World War, but now the engine design was significantly modified.
